All right, got a new layout up and a cool little profile layout. Neither are by me, which kinda makes me feel lame since this is a graphics journal and I'm a graphics-maker, yet apparently I have to use other people's work for my actual journal, but whatever. It's cool. Layout's the same as the one on my LJ, but it's all cool and artsy-looking, so it works.

Anyway, now that the revamping is done, I'm hoping to get on to some actual graphics-making. *gasp* I know, crazy, right? I had the idea last night to make a bunch of banners and icons using Shakespeare quotes, but then I somehow ended up watching two hours' worth of fake news clips.

Whatever. It's raining, so I'll basically be stuck inside all day anyway.

Well, hello there! No, I hadn't forgotten about this journal. I was merely forced onto hiatus thanks to summer vacation and, thus, the lack of time to make graphics and, worse yet, the sudden paltriness of my Internet time on my laptop.

Basically, I didn't make any graphics over the summer, nor do I have wireless at home. I actually don't really have enough for a real post tonight, but I've got a few icons that have just been sitting about collecting dust. I figured I'd just post them for now until I get back into the swing of things. PROBLEM: I seem to have forgotten the password to my Photobucket account for this journal. Crap. Well, thankfully I've got another account for which I do remember the password, so I'm posting what I've got for now (hoping to get a new layout up soon, too, but who knows when that'll happen).

so a long time ago, i was messing around on our computer at home. i was looking through all of the pictures we could use for desktop backgrounds, and i thought, hey - why don't i icon these? so i did, and those make up the bulk of this post. there's also some random/stock type icons, and at the bottom are some joke-type icons - you know, quotes and inside jokes and things with me and my friends. three of them are shoebox_project related, actually. you can take them if you'd like, although i'm not sure why you would. the first group - use them as bases, icons, textures, dartboards, i really don't care. but, here it all is.
